I never had the chance to get into it in the arcade as much as the previous versions, but I've heard grumblings that they've gone back to some earlier versions for some of the moves. Regardless, all you jaggie whiners can shut the hell up, cause they're not there for you to whine about. (Well, you can only get so much detail on a Kanji on a TV screen) The Sharp mode makes the text a bit clearer, but flickery, whereas soft makes the text very stable but a tad blurry. I've not noticed a speed hit between the two, and I'm still not sure which I prefer. There's an option on the Display menu for "Sharp" or "Soft" visuals, basically, you can turn the antialiasing on and off. Just picked this up Friday (bastards, was supposed to be here Wednesday or Thursay)
